About Dr. Meenu Gupta
Meenu Gupta, MD, is a board-certified primary medicine physician with more than 20 years of professional experience in hospital, home health, and primary care environments. She currently treats patients throughout the Sunrise and Davie communities of Florida at Americare Medical Center.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Gupta attended school at Govt. College and JLN Medical College in Ajmer, India. Shortly after graduating, she relocated to Florida, where she passed her board certification on the first attempt. She has been practicing in Broward County, Florida, since 1988 and is proud to serve the community where she lives.
Dr. Gupta manages and treats a number of health conditions at Americare Medical Center, including management of diabetes and heart disease, common cold and flu treatments, vaccinations, regular checkups, and more.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Gupta and her partner, Mohan Gupta, MD, started a $25,000 endowment fund for exchange students at Nova Southeastern University in Broward County, where she also mentors students. She’s been involved in the annual Diwali show’s fundraising since 2009. Dr. Gupta also serves as fundraising chair, arranging and planning countless fundraising events, at the South Florida Hindu Temple in Southwest Ranches, Florida.
When she is not at the office or fundraising for her community, Dr. Gupta is actively involved in Indian religious and cultural committees.
